Unfortunately the hot and dry weather spell caused horrible fires affecting the entire Port Arthur peninsula and the East Coast of Tasmania. The intensity and the fire's rate of spread forced a massive evacuation operation. Our friends Lena and Cagi on holidays in Freycinet Peninsula had to be evacuated. |
